It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. – Charles Dickens
This was one of my favourite shoots ever! Not only because the couple and the setting on this early spring evening were so effortless and just perfect, but also because we planned it with a mindset of learning about film. For the first time in ages I returned from a session with a half empty memory card – only a few digitals I can now share with you. I did, however, have more film rolls than I’ve ever shot before, as I’ve experimented with Fuji, Portra as well as Ilford! When I’ve received my scans, I will make sure to post those, too, but for now here is a little preview of what went down just over a week ago.
