Ready for a charming little wedding in Goriška Brda? Nina and Boris got married back in September at this beautiful, intimate and very homey location called Štekarjeva domačija. I especially loved the smallest touches the couple took care of: beautiful calligraphy made by amazing Vida Igličar was the core of the event, from the menus to seating charts, table numbers and the oh so gorgeous invitation suite. Bride’s sister made amazing cakes, that not only looked like they came straight from a top notch bakery, but also tasted delicious. And lets not forget about Nina’s lovely flowers and the headpiece that was made by Metka, our absolute favourite florist.
Honestly, there was not much decoration needed, as the ambience was naturally brought by the location with its wooden details, outstanding views, all topped by their amazing food! On the day of the wedding it all started with a little bit of a rain scare. The weather wasn’t ideal, but everybody was incredibly chill … those were the cards we were all dealt with and it worked out just perfectly. It stopped raining for the emotional ceremony in the villa’s front yard and the guests got to enjoy the views while toasting to the newly weds. You can see some of my favourites down below – enjoy, and hope to see you soon with another pretty wedding of the last year!
